Clinical Affairs Specialist

The Clinical Affairs Specialist (CAS) assists the R&D and production teams with the development of content for medical education activities which include but are not limited to: content development, research and analysis of the latest-evidence based data presented at worldwide medical meetings, and editing educational monographs for scientific and medical accuracy. The CAS will assist the R&D director with all CME activities which include: CME monographs, slide presentations, audio-conferences, and many other direct to communications activities directed toward physicians, pharmacists, and nurses. As part of the clinical affairs staff, you will review and analyze the latest evidence-based data by therapeutic area and disease state to serve as the medical liaison between Millennium's sales staff, our pharmaceutical clients, and key opinion leader physicians.

Candidates must have a 4 year degree in a healthcare related field with at least 1 year of clinical experience, excellent oral and written communication skills and demonstrated ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment. A PharmD or Nursing degree is preferred.

Web Developer/Programmer

Web Developer/Programmer

Millennium Medical Information Services, Inc. (MMIS) is seeking a Website Developer/Programmer (WD).

As a WD with MMIS you will be responsible for working with and modifying, Open Source and well as custom PHP applications integrated with custom designs, which are often supported with advanced backend PHP code and MySQL and SQL databases. You will work with graphic designers, themers and other developers.

You will be responsible to work as an integral team member on development and implementation of new web sites from concept inception to completion; including technical integration of web-based solutions like Web 2.0 Social Networking and Enterprise 2.0. The successful candidate will utilize his/her expertise in CMS (Drupal), PHP, MySQL, CSS and programming elements with HTML, scripting languages, design elements, layout and configuration.

You will report directly to the MMIS President and will work closely with colleagues in our graphics design and project management departments to ensure timely delivery of projects. If you have demonstrated the ability to work independently and as a productive team member with several years of demonstrable experience developing dynamic web-based PHP and Open Source applications this is the job for you.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
  • Requires 5 to 10 years of experience as a web developer including software development.
  • Expert knowledge of HTTP, CSS, DOM, PHP, JavaScript, XML and MySQL is required.
  • Expert knowledge of Linux, Unix, Windows and familiarity with Macintosh operating systems.
  • Strong LAMP or WAMP background is required.
  • Experience developing in eZ Publish, Drupal or other Open Source CMS.
  • Experience developing social networking applications a huge plus.
  • Advanced knowledge Internet and Web standards as well as Web browser specifications.

As a GMD with MMIS, you will be responsible for artwork development, report layouts, posting reports to websites, banner ad development, website graphics and design, print materials for live events, PowerPoint slide formatting, sales mock-ups, video and audio editing and formatting, and maintaining MMIS branding standards.  You will work with the Senior Project Manager (SPM), Web Developer (WD), MMIS sales team, and MMIS management. You will be an integral team member responsible for designing and developing unique, customized products and program branding. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Creating graphic elements and layouts for reports, invitations, PowerPoint presentations, banner ads and product mock-ups; Reviewing and editing printer’s proofs; Converting content to HTML and posting to websites; Editing audio and video files; and Contributing to the ongoing improvement and development of the production process. The successful candidate will utilize his/her expertise in QuarkXPress, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Flash, HTML, scripting languages, design elements, layout and configuration.  You will report directly to the SPM and will work closely with colleagues in our graphics design and project management departments to ensure timely delivery of projects.   If you have demonstrated the ability to work independently and as a productive team member with several years of demonstrable experience developing graphic designs and multimedia products, this is the job for you.   • Administrative work for a team of project managers, including but not limited to managing appointments, conference calls and special projects as assigned.
  • Manage aspects of project implementation as requested by Senior Project Manager and project management staff.

Millennium Medical Information Services, Inc. (MMIS) is seeking an Associate Project Manager (APM) for its Hampton, NH location.
As an APM with MMIS, you will work with the Project Manager (PM), Web Developer (WD), MMIS sales team, and MMIS management. The APM provides administrative, general office, and project-related support for all MMIS employees as directed by the PM and MMIS management. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following:
 
·         Manage aspects of project implementation as requested by PM and project management staff to include logistics arrangements, faculty recruitment and confirmation, meeting materials, audio-visual requirements and supplier management
·         Manage all appropriate external communication to clients, physicians and suppliers
·         Assist with project faculty recruitment as necessary
·         Continuously monitor project timelines and budgets and report problems or errors to PM
·         Proactively manage internal and external project communication as appropriate
·         Manage multiple tasks concurrently and effectively
·         Familiarity with social networking sites and concepts
·         Ability to learn basic website administration and reporting functions (programming not required)
